Where in other types of lighting, the light must be reflected to the desired direction and further than half of the light may leave the institution. Heat LEDs emit veritably little heat. If we compare LEDs with incandescent bulbs, then incandescent bulbs radiate 90 percent of their energy as heat whereas CFLs radiate about 80 of their energy as heat. Furthermore, LED lighting products generally last much longer and have a bigger life span. A good quality LED bulb can have a life expectancy of about 3 to 5 times longer than a CFL and 30 times longer than an incandescent bulb.
